Bug Fixes
- Creating record with Outlook mail is failing if we rename the module name in Simply Language Editor.
- Creating record with mail shows “Mandatory Fields Missing” – If we have any custom mandatory field in Simply module, while creating a record in that module from Outlook with a mail is failing with “Mandatory Fields Missing” error.
- When mail is attached to contact record, it is storing time sent as GMT+0.
- If User is part of a Group through Role, then synchronizing Contacts records was not working.
- Sync error “A valid UTF32 value is between 0x000000 and 0x10ffff, inclusive, and should not include surrogate codepoint values (0x00d800 ~ 0x00dfff)” – While parsing JSON in Outlook plugin side, it was throwing this error as we were not handling surrogate code points.
- Records are not syncing if you have any custom mandatory fields in Simply.
- Outlook allows to create a record with invalid email ids from Attach Email form – While trying to create a record from attach email form, it was creating with a valid email id (ex :- test@test). When you edit that created record in Simply and click on save, it says please enter a valid email ID. We have now fixed to stop creating if it is not a valid email id.
- Outlook Plugin – Duplication check is not working properly.

Bug Fixes
- All Calendar items in Outlook are saving as ‘Call’ in Simply – While creating a meeting in Outlook, it is saving as a Call in Simply. We provided an option in Preference tab to select default activity type for Calendar Events. It will be applicable for Outlook Appointments, not for Meetings.

Features
- One way sync – Option provided to the User to configure sync direction.
- Group sync – If any record in Simply is assigned to a Group and any user of that Group is trying to sync from his Outlook, then the plugin will sync that records also.
- Duplication Check – If a User is using the plugin for the first time, there might be a chance of same records present in Simply and Outlook. In this situation,
- For Contacts : If email of Outlook and Simply records are same, then it will show a conflict popup and asks the user to select which which record we have to consider.
- For Events : If Subject, Start time, End time of records are same, then it will show a conflict popup and asks the user to select which which record we have to consider.
- For Tasks : If Subject, Start date and End date are same, then it will show conflict popup and asks the user to select which which record we have to consider.
Bug Fixes
- Account name not synchronizing properly while synchronizing bulk contacts at a time.
- In the last release(3.1), we gave a feature of “Account name sync”. If no record exists in Simply with the company name of Outlook contact, then it’ll create an Organization in Simply and map that Contact to the Organization. But, if you have more than one Contact in Outlook with Company name filled, then it’s not synchronizing all the account names. This is fixed in this release.
- 32-bit plugin is giving error with Contact group record in Outlook.
- Deleted Account – If your Outlook Contact has a company name which is deleted in Simply and if you sync that record, then it should create a new Company in Simply and map. But if that is deleted, Company is still in Simply “Recycle Bin”, then it was directly mapping to that deleted record. Because of this, “Tooltip on hover to related fields” feature is failing.
