What do you mean by Nice Score?
The main intention of introducing this feature is to prevent spammers from using Simply services. Simply restricts initial email campaigns to small lists (1000 recipients) before increasing. It then waits for 1 hour after a campaign is sent before reviewing results and raising the available credits. For this reason, though you might have more credits in your account, the number of available credits for your next campaign might be less.

What are the metrics of Nice Score ?
Score | Max | Min |
---|---|---|
0 | 0 | 0 |
1 | 1000 | 400 |
2 | 2500 | 1000 |
3 | 10000 | 4000 |
4 | 1000000 | 25000 |
Score represents Nice Score value.
Max represents maximum number of credits available for that instance.
Min represents minimum number of credits to increase or decrease when nice score computes.
Difference between Available credits and Allowed Credits
Available credits is the total number of emails you can send from this instance.
Allowed credits is the maximum number of emails you can send in a single campaign. These credits increases based on the Nice Score.
Example: If you have 9680 Available credits and 1000 Allowed credits, you are allowed to send only 1000 emails per campaign. The Nice score is then computed after 1 hour. If the Nice score increases then the Allowed credits increases to 2500. Please refer to the above table for more information.
How do you compute Nice Score ?
For New Customer’s (New sign ups):
By default for new customers the Nice Score value will be 1. This means they can send a max of 1000 emails. Nice score will be recomputed only if a customer sends a campaign with a minimum list size of 400 when his Nice Score is 1.
Example:
Assume a customer’s Nice Score value is 1 when he sends a campaign with a list size equal to 100. In this case, the Nice score will not be incremented or decremented. It will be recomputed only if:
1. They send a campaign with list size greater than or equal to 400.
2. Sum of lists from last five campaigns exceeds 400.
For Existing Customer’s:
We will compute last 5 recent campaigns. If any of those campaigns have high bounces / complaints / unsubscribes then for that instance the Nice Score value will be 0. He also cannot create any campaign if his Nice Score is 0.
If there are no bounces or complaints in the customer’s last 5 campaigns, then their nice score will be 4. For this instance they can send unlimited number of emails.
What happens when Nice score is zero ?
When Nice score becomes zero, the email campaign account status will change to the suspended state. In order to change the status and increase the Nice score, the user needs to submit a feedback form by clicking on the What should I do ? button as shown below. After reviewing the response, Simply support team will increase the Nice score for that customer accordingly.
