The information in this document pertains to customers that started a paid subscription before 9/23/2014!

Introducing Editions

On September 23, 2014, after more than four years of continuously improving and delivering our one-size fits all cloud CRM solution for just $12 / user / month, we have finally diversified our product and pricing offerings. From 9/23/14 onward, visitors to the Simply website will be offered the ability to choose from three different editions – a Sales Edition, a Support edition, and an Ultimate edition (more editions are planned in the future). Each edition is centered around providing a focused experience in its respective functional area. The Sales edition is centered around helping businesses better acquire, nurture, and manage their leads, customers, and deals. The Support edition focuses on ticket management, customer service and customer retention. The Ultimate edition includes everything in both the Sales and Support editions, and then some.

Why launch new editions?

Over the last four years we have heard time and time again that our customers want a product experience that’s centered around their goals. These goals are typically in sales, customer service, or end-to-end customer management. That means that right from when they sign up, the software has to appropriately configure itself to their needs. The only way for us to truly market and deliver such an experience is by creating a host of new products at different price points to demonstrate the difference in delivered value and functionality. Our plans to provide more focused experiences have been met with mostly positive remarks.

Did prices increase with the new editions?

The price for the Sales and Support editions will be offered at the pre-editions price. The price of Unlimited Edition is higher.

Simply hasn’t changed products or pricing for 4 years. Why now?

Since we launched Simply CRM in 2010 with one edition at $12 / user / month, we have greatly expanded upon our services and Simply CRM’s functionality – Simply sports a modernized, simpler interface, virtually every existing module has deeper, more versatile functionality, integrations with third party software like phone systems and accounting software count in the dozens, we’ve launched brand new services like global search and a fully integrated email marketing service, and we now have 24/5 email, phone, and chat support, and that’s just the icing on the cake. Today, Simply is immeasurably better than it was in 2010, and is more expensive to deliver.

I signed up before 9/23/2014, does this affect me?

Put simply, it doesn’t. If you started a paid subscription before 9/23/2014 your account will be locked into a special tier we call the “Exclusive Edition”. This edition is identical to the new Ultimate Edition, except that you’ll continue to pay just $12 / user / month.

Does this mean that I will pay more for any additional users?

Because the entire account resides on the Exclusive edition, any added users will be billed at the Exclusive edition’s $12 / user / month, and have access to all features and benefits of the Exclusive edition.

Will Simply build new software, or integrate with other third parties like social networks?

We have a long pipeline of deep integrations currently under development, which includes social network integration. For the foreseeable future, all developments will be centered around enhancing CRM functionality. We won’t be building airplanes any time soon.
