After successfully downloading the Simply CRM Firefox plugin, you’ll need to install it.

Follow few simple steps to install Simply CRM Firefox plugin

Open Firefox browser
Click Firefox drop-down in the upper left
Click Add-ons

4. Click Firefox gear icon

in the upper right

5. Click Install Add-on From File

6. Browse and select the downloaded Simply CRM Firefox plugin

7. In the Install Add-ons popup, click Install Now

8. After restarting Firefox browser, you will be able to see Simply CRM tool bar installed on your browser

You can manage whole lot of operations you do on Simply CRM from within just a browser. With only few clicks you can create desired records in Simply CRM.

Login

Follow few simple steps to log into Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox browser

Open Firefox browser
Click VtigerCRM drop-down in the toolbar
Click Login to simplyCRM
In the VtigerCRM User Login Form, provide the following details

User Name	Provide your user name
Access Key	Provide your unique Access Key. You can find the key in My Preferences page
Simply URL	Provide your Simply CRM account URL

Note!

1. When you create a Simply CRM account, an unique URL will be provided to you. Basically, URL will be generated as
https://yourcompanyname.od1.simplyhq.com. But, we’ll strongly recommend you to log into your Simply CRM account, and copy your URL from address bar ― not all, but up to od1.simplyhq.com

2. To get your unique Access Key, click on first name drop-down of your account in upper right, click My Preferences. You can find your Access Key in My Preferences page

5. Click Save

Creating records from Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox browser

Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox plugin helps you to create records without having to log into Simply CRM. Most importantly, the plugin respects Profiles and Module Manager settings. Modules will be disabled on toolbar in two different cases

Module is disabled for all users through Module Manager
Module is disabled for selected users through Profiles

For instance, If you disable Contacts, Leads and Tickets, those modules will not be highlighted after login, and hence, you cannot create records from toolbar.

Follow few simple steps to create new record from Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox browser

For instance, we will create Lead record now.

Open Firefox browser
Click VtigerCRM drop-down in the toolbar > Login to SimplyCRM > Provide necessary information to login
Click Create Lead
Fill in the fields in Create Lead popup
Click Add As Lead button.

Note!

Create record popup displays all mandatory fields.
Create Account is used to create Organization records.
Notes that you create through Create Notes will be saved in Documents module.

Uninstalling Simply CRM toolbar from Firefox browser

If Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox browser doesn’t meet your requirements, you can uninstall it when required.

Follow few simple steps to uninstall Simply CRM toolbar on Firefox browser

Open Firefox browser
Click Firefox drop-down in the upper left
Click Add-ons

4. Under Extensions, locate Simply CRM Toolbar and click Disable button next to it

5. Restart Firefox browser, and you will not be able to see Simply CRM toolbar anymore
