Enhancement of Documents module and integration with Dropbox and Google Drive

The Documents module has been enhanced for better usability.

You can now preview the files of select formats right from the list view or the detail view without having to download them.

Simply also now allows to save attachments and link it to your favourite storage services such as Dropbox and Google Drive.

Update fields in related modules through workflows

You can now update related fields of a module, i.e., Lookup field value from another module & Update field value of another module by selecting “Update Fields” from Step 3 in workflows.

Use cases:

a. Update Project when Task is completed (updated field of another module).

b. Update Organization when Contact is modified.

c. Update Activities when Opportunities Sales Stage is modified.

d. In Tickets Workflow Update Field task, you can pickup the value of a field from Related Product (lookup value from another module).

Filter conditions & Workflows conditions – Allow Related module fields

You can now view and filter data from related modules in the list views

Use cases:

a. In the Contacts module, you can view any field of Organisation in Contact’s list view, for example : Organization’s country,website,address,etc

b. For the above case, you can also filter based on Organization’s country, say you can view only those Contacts whose Organization is in India.

c. View those Opportunities whose Contacts are from a particular type of Industry.

d. This functionality is also provided in Email Campaigns where you can filter and send emails to Contacts whose Organization is of a particular country.

Edit Print Template before saving / printing record

You can now easily edit any template before exporting any record as a PDF.

To do this, Select record(s) in list view –> Click Actions –> Select Print / Export PDF –> Edit and Export –> Edit template –> Save/Export PDF

Search results – Options to page jump and sort

Search results are now made easy to navigate between different pages when there are many results. Sorting on the columns also has been added.

Phone Calls

Click to call feature now available for Twilio accounts.
